Day 20 of seeking rejections - talking about starting a podcast

I'm choosing something each day to do in order to get out of my comfort zone.

I saw a tweet recently from a founder offering people $1,000 a month to be a podcast host. It seems like a great gig as I would get to be paid for doing something I love - talking to other founders.

I just had a great chat with the person offering the job. It's early days but it seems like a good opportunity and it would be nice to have some regular income each month while I work on building up No CS Degree. The offer includes a lot of autonomy and the ability to build up an audience.

I've been very impressed recently by an idea of Nassim Taleb's to cap your losses and uncap your gains. Convex tinkering is what he calls it. There's a good summary of it in this Indiehackers thread. I like the idea of having a risk-free income each month while working on my website which has an unlimited upside.
