Twitter/X post cut-off calculator
You've written an awesome post on X/Twitter
But it's pointless if you can't tell how much people will see and how much will be cut off.
Write or paste a post and see what gets cut off and what stays visible. Get more views on posts by optimising the length.

Estimate only. X shows about the first 280 characters of a long post before "Show more". Characters are counted the way X counts them: every link counts as 23, most emoji and Chinese, Japanese or Korean characters count as 2. Posts over 280 characters need X Premium.
